Pure Natural Essential Oils and Absolutes
produced in France
We sell only 100 % pure natural essential oils and absolutes. Products in the list are available in Bulk (starting from 8 oz) only. If you would like to place an order on one of the products below,
Absolutes are extracted from a concrete using pure alcohol or liquid carbon dioxide. Absolutes are highly concentrated, generally thick liquids. Some are solid or semi solid. The carbon dioxide method of extraction is preferred for therapeutic absolutes, as even after evaporation some absolutes still retain traces of alcohol. Solvent extraction provides a means of obtaining a higher volatile yield from the plant or, in some cases, a product that cannot be obtained by other extraction processes, e.g. Jasmin or Carnation (with the potential current exception of hypercritical CO2 extraction which remains, in many cases, a very expensive process). In this process, the plants are immersed in the solvent and the 'separation' is performed chemically, employing distillation under special temperatures which condense the oil but not the solvents.
Alternatively, the absolute is obtained from the CONCRETE (which is itself derived from soaking the plant material in hexane). The concrete mixture is then concentrated (double-distilled) and further diluted in alcohol or double-filtered to arrive at the absolute, in which the majority of plant waxes and solvent residues are eliminated.

Oils for sensual massage
Oils for Sensual massage.
Sensual massage
recommended oils. When Choosing essential oils for sensual massage
the most important consideration is personal taste. The massage will
not be a pleasurable experience if the person giving or receiving it
finds the blend of oils disagreeable. This is a time when both
partners should allow an intuitive choice to guide them towards a
blend of oils that they find most appealing.
There are, however, a few oils that seem to have a universal appeal:
jasmine, rose, rosewood, sandalwood, and ylang ylang. These oils are
the embodiment of luxury and are indeed some of the most precious.
They have a warming and enveloping quality, freeing the mind of the
mundance and opening it to the exotic and romantic. To spice and
stimulation to your chosen blend, add either black pepper or
frankincense.

favorite of both men and women
Cardamom is blended with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg,
black paper and carnations for a classic Indian and Arab
aphrodisiac.

flavored a popular drink of the Middle Ages called Hippocras that
was drunk at weddings to inspire love and sex.
Ginger was for "burning desire", according to Persian
physician Avicenna.
Jasmine is called "Queen of the Night" because that's
when it releases it fragrance. As a symbol of both sex and love,
it's also associated with passions that released at night.

similar to testosterone. It's worn in the Middle East for both
spiritual and sexual inspiration.

Exotic Oils & butters
Exotic oils
and butters
Exotic Oils
are found in different parts of the world. In the west, interest in these oils
isgrowing as science is now beginning to validate what has long been known in
other parts of the world: That these oils have therapeutic and functional
properties. Some are rich in specific essential fatty acids, or high oxidative
stability. Others have rejuvenating and healing properties, natural vitamins or
very specific functions that make them unique.
Exotic Butter
is a soft waxy substance that forms a solid or semisolid at ambient
temperatures. These exotic butters are a group of natural fats with a high
content of symmetrical monounsaturated trigtycerides. AH of these butters
contain. 50-60% of saturated fatty acids, mainly stearic acid, and up to 47% of
monounsaturated oleic add. The plants are generally tropical jungle crops and
production volumes can fluctuate, depending strictly upon the whims and fancies
of nature. Attributes: narrow melting point, high content of saturated fatty
acids, high in oxidation stability, viscosity and emulsion stability, and
contains many ingredients that are beneficial for hair and skin.
Cocoa Butter. An unrefined, food grade butter obtained by pressing
crushed seeds of the cacao tree, Theobroma cacao. Cocoa butter is a well-known,
valued ingredient in chocolate. In cosmetics, it is valued for its melting
point, which is close to body temperature, its greasing and lubricating
properties and emollient virtues. A compound of the oil phase, it provides skin
conditioning and thickening attributes. Widely used in suppositories, skin-care
products, bath oils, night creams, suntan preparations, and lip make-up.
COCO Natural 76. A high quality unrefined coconut oil, product of a
community-based project in the Philippines. This too is natural oil, extracted
from fresh coconut meat without the use of chemicals or high temperature, a
derivative technology of the virgin oil process. In liquid form (above 26°C.),
it is a water-clear, light viscosity oil with a very subtle coconut aroma. With
its very mild aroma, it is especially suited as base oil in flavour and
fragrance formulation. Natural emolliency, moisturizing and antioxidant
characteristics of the oil make it an excellent choice for uses designed to
rejuvenate the skin. Food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical use.
Coconut Nutri-Oil. This oil is a precise combination of pure virgin
coconut oil and a specific fraction of coconut oil with very low melting point.
A liquid oil, water-clear, non-greasy, with a delicate coconut aroma. It has
good flow and solvent properties and is a complete oil compared to fractionated
oil. It is functional and contains natural vitamin E, anti-oxidant properties
and moisturizing ability. Its liquid form enhances its mixing properties making
it an excellent for medicaments and therapeutic agents. Nutri-Oil is non-drying,
a natural emollient and miscible to most essential oils and solvents, and has a
very long shelf life. For cosmetic, ayuvedic, and pharmaceutical applications.
Evening Primrose Oil. TheThe evening primrose plant was used for healing
by North American natives long before the Europeans came. However, the
therapeutic properties of its seed oil is a recent discovery. It contains 72%
linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that is abundant in commercial seed oils.
EPO also contains 9% gamma-linolenic acid which is present in only a few other
plant seeds. It is widely cultivated in North America, parts of Europe, and in
China. For dietary and cosmetic application.
Fractionated
Coconut Oil.
Fractionated Coconut oil used in aromatherapy and massage is liquid medium chain
tryglycerides. Water-clear, light texture, odorless, tasteless with an
indefinite shelf life (will not become rancid). Unlike other coconut oils, it is
not a 'complete' oil, but a specific selection and combination of fatty acids
contained within coconut oils. The benefit of fractionated oil is that specific
constituents are separated out and used as ingredients in manufacturing
applications. For example, fractions having a very low melting point (and little
amount of natural glycerin) are useful as viscosity modifiers. Fast becoming a
favourite of aromatherapists because it is miscible with essential oils,
penetrating, and of light viscosity. Cosmetic, clinical nutrition, and
pharmaceutical use.
Jojoba Oil. Jojoba plant is native in arid parts of continental US
particularly Arizona and in the northern part of Mexico. Not an oil, it is
actually a liquid wax, with excellent penetrating qualities and great
moisturizing attributes for the skin. Jojoba is very functional in hair care
formulations; an excellent moisturizer on the hair shaft, it also cleans,
softens and conditions hair and prevents brittleness. Penetrates down to the
scalp and hair shaft to loosen and dissolves hardened and buit-up sebum. Jojoba
also exhibits an excellent keratoplastic effect and brings out the hair's
natural shine and overtone.
Elipe Butter. Illipe butter is the fat obtained from the nuts of Shorea
stenoptera, a wild crop in the jungle of SouthEast Asia particularly in the
island of Borneo. It is pale yellow solid fat after extraction, which turns
quickly into green color. It has recently been introduced as a cosmetic raw
material and is used in various skin-care preparations such as nourishing night
creams, sun products, masks, and lip balms. It is the exotic butter that comes
closest to matching cocoa butter in triglyceride composition. Illipe butter is
recommended to heal sores and mouth ulcers. It reinforces the skin lipidic
barrier and helps maintain skin moisturization.
Kokum Butter. Kokum butter is obtained from the fruit kernel of Garcinia
indica, which grows in the savanna areas in parts of the Indian subcontinent. It
has very high content ofstearic-oleic-stearic triglycerides. It is the most
stable and hardest exotic butter with a melting point of 38-40 C. It has good
white color even without refining. Kokum butter has been used as an astringent,
local application to ulceration and fissures of lips, hands, and sole. Suitable
for applications in skin and hair products, acne products, and skin tonics.
Kukui Nut Oil. Kukui nut oil is a compound of the oily phase and
contains essential fatty acids (linoleic acid and linolenic acid) which are
similar to skin lipids. Kukui nut oil presents moisturizing and restructuring
effects on skin, film forming and conditioning on hair. Excellent for nourishing
shampoo, anti-wrinkle creams, body massage oils, emollient creams for dry,
sensitive and delicate skin; after sun-products; lip balms; softening or
anti-aging creams. Cosmetic use only.
Macadamia Nut Oil. Macadamia specie is native to Australia and now
cultivated in the islands of Hawaii. In addition to being a healthy food oil,
Macadamia nut oil works to improve skin structure and moisturization by
strengthening the skin lipidic barrier. It has emollient, regenerative and skin
conditioning properties. It is a recommended ingredient for: nourishing shampoos
for dry hair, moisturizing creams for dry skin and baby skin, anti-wrinkle
cremes, and lip balms.
Mango Butter. Mango butter is obtained from de-shelled fruit kernels of
the mango tree, Mangifera indica native to sub-continental India and the
tropics. It has just been recently introduced in the cosmetic industry and is a
promising ingredient because of its emollient properties, high oxidative
ability, and its suitability for replacement of paraffin-based emollient. It has
remarkable regenerative activity due to its content in unsaponiable matter. It
is a soft solid with a melting point between 31°-36° C and a very slight sweet
scent. It has a protective effect against UV radiation. A useful and beneficial
ingredient in skin care products, lotions, massage creams, and hair products.
Mono'i de Tahiti. An exotic oil of Tahitian origin, in use for 2000 years
(give or take a couple of centuries). A combination of two components: Tahitian
coconut oil and Gardenia flower essence blended the process of "enfleurage". It
is claimed that the unique volcanic soil of the Tahitian islands impart
qualities to the ingredients which can not be duplicated anywhere else in the
world. Golden yellow color. An elegant moisturizer and superfatting agent.
Natural form or with added scent. Cosmetic use only.
Neem Tree Oil. Neem tree or margosa (Azadica Indica) is indigenous to
South Asia and found in most part of the Indian sub-continent. All parts of Neem
tree are useful although the one that is commonly used for cosmetic and skin
care purposes is the oil from the seed. Neem oil has a strong odor, brownish
green color. The active ingredient is Azadirachtin but more of 25 other
compounds have been identified. Neem oil offers moisturizing, regenerative and
restructuring properties. It can be used for damaged and delicate hair, hand
creams, facial care and after sun-products.
Sal Butter. Sal butter is obtained from the kernels of the Sal tree,
Shorea robusta, a tree growing wild in the jungle of forests of North, East, and
Central India. Sal is used locally for cooking and soap production. It is
comparable to cocoa butter in physical properties and is used in some similar
applications. Like mango butter, it combines good emolliency properties with
superior oxidative stability. It is solid at room temperature with a melting
point of 34°-38°C. Used in skin and hair products, stick products, hair pomades,
and dry-skin lotions.
Shea Butter This butter is from the kernels of the shea nut tree,
Butyrospermum parkii, native to Western Africa. It is a tallow-like substance
extracted by hydraulic pressing or screw expellers. In crude form, it can be
yellow or grey but is whitish if refined. Shea butter is non-toxic and
non-irritating and derived totally from renewable natural resources.
Traditionally it has been used in Africa as a medical balm for rheumatism,
muscle aches, bums, and light wounds. Its unique fatty acid composition makes it
a suitable emollient for many-skin-care applications, such as baby-care
products, massage creams, make-up, and similar products. One unique
characteristic of shea butter is its content of unsaponiables (up to 8%) which
imparts soothing properties and provides extra sun protection.
Virgin Oil De Coco-Creme™ A virgin, cold-pressed, vitamin E rich,
"biologically pure" coconut oil, identical to unextracted oil from coconuts.
Extracted from fresh coconut milk in a process that eliminates high temperature
and solvents. In liquid form (melts at 22°C.), it is a clear, extra-light
viscosity oil with sweet coconut flavour. The "virgin oil process" conserves all
functional attributes inherent in natural coconut oil substances of squallene,
sterol and useful volatile components are preserved. Its natural emolliency,
moisturizing and antioxidant characteristics make it superb for rejuvenating
dry, stressed and aging skin. Virgin Oil De Coco-Creme is versatile: It can
replace expensive exotic butters; an excellent carrier oil, and has medicinal
uses. Food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and clinical nutrition use

Choosing and Blending oils An
oil blend is made by mixing a few drops of essential oil with one of the
carrier oils opposite. We all like different scents, and it is essential that
the aroma of the blend appeals to you, or to the person you are going to
massage. First, decide what effect you hope to achieve: do you want the aroma
to sedate or revive, to energize or to calm? Do you want to use oils for their
therapeutic properties or simply to pamper? Make a list of essential oils
suited to your requirements. Select two or three from your list - good blends
usually combine all three notes: top (gives the initial scent), middle (adds
body to the blend), and base (released last, this gives the lingering scent).
The general rule is that a little is best: a weak blend of oils often smells
better and is therefore more effective than a stronger blend. Follow the guide
below to achieve the safest dilution of essential oils for a balanced
fragrance and maximum therapeutic benefit.
BLENDING
OILS. Oil blends are usually divided into normal and low dilutions.
Aromatherapists refer to these dilutions as percentages, based on the amount
of essential oil in carrier oil. There is an easy way to figure out dilutions.
To calculate how many drops of essential oil are needed to make a normal
dilution of 2,5%, divide the number of milliliters of carrier oil by 2; for a
low dilution of 1%, divide by 4. Most essential oil bottles come with dropper
for easy measuring. Pay special attention to the warnings listed, for special
instructions on which dilution to use. For a full body massage, 20ml of oil is
needed; for the face, 10 ml is enough. You can make larger quantities and
store them (see storage oils).
1. Choose a
carrier oil (or 1. blend of carrier oils) based on your skin type, and
determine the amount you will need. Transfer the carrier oil into a dark
bottle a little larger than the amount of oil.
2. Choose 2-3
essential oils based on the effect you require, and calculate the number of
drops to use. Add to the carrier oil. Close the bottle and label it clearly.
Shake well before use.
Extremely low dilution for very sensitive skin, children &
babies:
Use just 1 drop essential oil per 10 ml carrier oil,
or use sweet almond oil by itself

The concrete mixture is then concentrated (double-distilled) and further diluted in alcohol or double-filtered to arrive at the absolute, in which the majority of plant waxes and solvent residues are eliminated.

is a soft solid with a melting point between 31°-36° C and a very slight sweet
