Bubble Tea is a popular Asian tea latte drink, similar to chai, that is quickly gaining popularity in North America. Bubble Teas are extremely refreshing, colorful, and fun to drink.
First the latte is created by blending the mix with water or milk... and tea if you are using the latte mix (The tea mixes already contain tea). This can be done in a blender with crushed ice or with ice cubes in a cocktail shaker.
Tapioca "pearls" are placed in a cup and the Bubble Tea mixture goes on top. You drink the Bubble Tea with an extra wide straw designed for sucking up the chewy pearls from the bottom of the cup.
Each 3-pound bag of Bubble Tea Mix makes approximately 38 (16 oz.) Bubble Teas.
These mixes contain powdered tea, so you only need to mix with water or milk when blending.
